Pete is a senior software development manager in the CAD/CAM sector, and enjoys tinkering with all sorts of techy stuff (like creating this website), as well as DIY, woodworking, growing vegetables, and spending time with his wife and children.
Treasurer, Trustee
A Police Officer in the Highlands & Islands for 28 years, Neil now works with Police Scotland as a civilian. He lives in Aviemore and has worshipped in the Kincraig congregation with his family since 2009, where he also serves as Elder and Treasurer, skills he brings to this role.
Fundraiser
Lorna has had a long career in fundraising, and she loves that it continues to connect her with people at home and abroad. She led the fundraising team at the National Trust for Scotland for nearly 10 years before moving into education, and Highland projects she worked on included Culloden, Mar Lodge, and Hugh Miller Cottage in Cromarty. She and her husband Gary are proud owners of the boathouse in Manse Bay, Loch Insh, which was built by her father well before she was born!
Community Liaison
Ian has lived in Kincraig for some time now, previously being the Depute Headteacher in Clackmannanshire.
He really enjoys getting involved with a variety of projects in the village, helping to develop the whole area through the Community Council and the village hall. The Funday brings the whole village together which is great, and the Christmas lights bring a touch of cheer. Add into that, working with the schools to involve them in Remembrance Sunday and other community projects such as gardening with the Primary 4’s keeps him in touch with education. Local History is very relevant and exiting to him as he explores themes with Badenoch Heritage.
Administration
Lenka is Head of Faculty for Maths and Computing at Kingussie High School. Originally from Kincraig, she spent many years living and working abroad before returning home twelve years ago to raise her three children and put down roots in the community that shaped her.
