Loch Insh Old Kirk

The Church of Scotland has notified the congregation at Alvie and Insh that it intends to dispose of this beautiful building by the end of 2026. A local group have set up a charity (a SCIO) in order to purchase the building and bring it into a new season of life: the SCIO and building will be called Loch Insh Old Kirk. The group includes members of the existing congregation and wider community, while also seeking input from supporters further afield.

The charity is now officially registered with OSCR, the Scottish Charity Regulator, and the Charity number is SC054632.

The trustees of this new charity are formulating plans, refining the vision, building a business plan, and exploring the best ways to engage with the community of Kincraig.
